Dr. Nafisa Ahmad, D.D.S
Dentist
Dr. Ahmad is our Dentist. She comes from years of experience throughout the Durham area. She graduated from University of Toronto in 1997 with Honours in Dentistry. She enjoys hanging out with her two boys and camping in the great outdoors in the summer.
Dr. Anitha Wilson, D.D.S
Associate Dentist
Dr. Anitha Wilson is a National Board Certified General Dentist, who has more than 12 plus years of experience treating patients with utmost care & quality. She has been practicing in GTA since 2017, and has made Whitby her home since 2020. During her free time, she loves to cook, enjoys time with her daughter and likes to explore different trails and cuisines in Whitby.
Dr. Abhishek Madhavan, D.D.S.
Dr. Madhavan is a graduate of the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry (2021). Prior to this, he has had several years of dental experience from India with a Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery (2009) and a Master’s in Oral Medicine and Radiology (2014). He enjoys all fields of dentistry and speaks multiple Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
Melanie
Receptionist
Melanie graduated from Dental Assisting level 1 and 2 back in2012 from Durham College. Melanie has been with Thickson Mills Dental since 2016 as an assistant, and later found her true passion doing reception.
Melanie is very kind, hard-working and dedicated towards helping patients and her wonderful team.
In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Kashfi
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kashfi is an experienced dental professional with 21 years experience within the dental setting. She started her path as a dental assistant before pursuing her goal in 2015 to become a dental hygienist at George Brown College. Kashfi ensures each of our patients are comfortable and provides outstanding dental hygiene care. She guides her patients and creates an achievable plan to improve oral hygiene. Outside the office Kashfi enjoys spending time with her husband and her cat. She also loves photography, reading books and watching Netflix.
Gabrielle
Gabrielle graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at St. Clair College. She then went onwards to completing the restorative program at George Brown College in 2005. She enjoys going the gym, doing yoga and exploring the great outdoors by going kayaking or hiking. She also loves to spend quality time with her family and friends.
Olivia
Dental Assistant
Olivia graduated Dental Assiting levels 1 & 2 in 2019 from Durham College. Olivia shows compassion towards patients and always lends a helping hand wherever needed. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog named Porsche. Olivia spends a lot of her spare time outdoors taking her dog for walks and getting excercise.
Brianna
Brianna Graduated from Dental assisting level I and II at Durham College in 2016. She began her co-op at Thickson Mills Dental and then later got offered a position as a dental assistant. Brianna is very admirable and compassionate. She also loves to lend out a helping hand to her patients as well as employees whenever she can. When she is not working Brianna enjoys spending time with her friends, family and walking her dog Rider.
Nadia
Nadia graduated Dental Assisting Levels I & II in 2023 from Durham College. She is a great member of our office and makes staff and patients at ease with her positive attitude and caring demeanor. Nadia enjoys spending time with family and friends and her hobbies include going to gym, cooking, and binge watching her favorite shows.
